Exhibit: Lilliputland
The original Lilliputland model railway was constructed in the early 70's by Len Marsden in Sydney. At the time it was the largest portable 'N' gauge model railway and toured all over Australia. Due to illness the railway was sold. Subsequent owners let it deteriorate and it sustained major damage. It was almost beyond repair and the restoration effort to save this exhibit took over three years.This truely amasing model railway is a masterpiece in miniature and an Australian icon among modellers.
